Pang, How big are the Fiddler Rays?
Some where close to 2 metres and everywhere.
Amazing place, I wonder why they were all congregating here. Great footage
Yes thats your ex PE teacher
Thats not a gummy shark!
School shark
Hi Pang, thanks for sharing great footage. We often snorkel at Pt Cook. Never seen so much at once though and never the sharks. Would we have to worry about being attacked by any of the sharks? I will put a link on our facebook and website. We are based in Wyndham Vale. (Western Melbourne Catchments Network)
Hi Colleen,no chance of attack-there all harmless. You need to look in the distance for a chance encounter with the Gummy Sharks. Then you still can miss a sighting. Unless there feeding on something they will not stay around and then they still can be shy. It will all depend on how relaxed and calm you are in the water. PQ
Food
there are plenty of Gummy Sharks there – possibly a couple of School/Snapper Sharks.
I don’t comment on many youtube videos that I watch, but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching that. Being local to the area I found it very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your comment. Nice to get some feed back.
So many “surprises” you found there….. What an absolute surprise I found watching your Video. As another local to these waters I was amazed at the footage. Very much appreciated
That was a sick video, was very surprised at how quick and vibrant the gummmys are in there natural state. Was expecting them to be a bit more sluggish
