The chance of a close encounter with the elephant Shark (Callorhynchus milii) came via a Text message notifying us of the release of 10 specimens at a certain location near Melbourne. These animals had been researched under the appropriate permits and were about to be given a second chance at freedom.-a video opportunity not to be missed as divers seldom see these critters in the wild. Very interesting fish, especially the way it moves with hardly any reliance on it’s tail. Seems remotely similar in shape to a PJ Shark.
Glad you are posting again. Hope you got the lost camera back
Camera still AWOL
