A couple of months ago almost all the professional freestyle windsurfers headed to Cape Town, in South Africa to train because in this period this place is very windy and offers the best conditions to improve own skills. The Youtube Channel Windsurfing.Tv uploaded a series of video called “Cape Town Training Diaries” that actually counts a total of four episodes that show highlights of these training days in the south african city.
The third episode was uploaded about three weeks ago and it’s full of amazing performances made not only in Cape Town. Yes, because as the speaker in the video explains, many windsurfers came back to Europe and they keep to train there so this video follows their performances also in the old continent.
The first performances showed in the video are really something unexpected. In the first one the british windsurfer Andy Bubble Chambers sails in the snow and we can barely imagine how cold is out there.

In the second one the dutch windsurfer Arianne Aukes amazes everybody windsurfing on ice in Holland.

The third one is always in Europe and it’s about the huge winter swell that the french windsurfer Thomas Traversa rode in Fuerteventura. The best moment of this performance is the monster aerial that he made. He was for few seconds really high suspended in the air.

After this episode the speaker comes back to Cape Town and shows some performances of a couple of windsurfers trying to improve their flip skills and their jumps then he speaks about the injury of the top wave rider Alessio Stillrich and ends with some other curious episodes from this training session.
So it’s a video full of funny moments and incredible performances. Check the other episodes of Cape Town Training Diaries on the youtube channel Winsurfing.Tv to know all the news from Windsurf world!

Yeow, love it, cheers Ben!
?
I don’t understand why the top guys keep on riding that shitty scarbs shorebreak, it’s way too dangerous, look at alesio, missing a whole season because of it…
THAT AERIAL !!!!
We were ice boarding in NY 25 yrs ago…fun, but I’m not into the cold anymore.
IMO the master of the head-throw aerial has to be US rider Tyson Poor https://www.instagram.com/p/Bau1CUODW59/?taken-by=poor_tyson
