Mornington Pier seldom has perfect under water visibility. Water is often green and cloudy and with strong winds, rough. Surprisingly too most, it supports a variety of fish species, perhaps more than anywhere else in the bay. Even regular Pier Fisherman are surprised what exist just beneath their feet. Different scenarios can be observed on any day. Its always about being at the right place at the right time. This is a good spot to find seahorses

That is just great photography Pang – don’t mind the Jaz & classical music either !
Blanket octopus ?
Awsome marine life you got on camera .
Like your videos been watching them all. I’ll subscribe .
spectacular video Pang – love the Flathead feeding in slow mo! Great music for the Penguins, birds and bait fish too!
I have not seen Lion’s Mane Jellyfish at Mornington Pier for years! The last time I saw them, they came in massive blooms
They will be back in the Bay for sure-arrival at Mornington will depend on wind direction and currents. i.e.. northerly
How deep were you when you saw the cuttlefish and the octopus? Awesome footage!
I have watched a few of your videos and I am in absolute awe of your amazing underwater videography. You make me aspire to so much more in my own video work. I have dived Mornington maybe 15 times but this is like a classic movie from a bygone era, given all the destruction that has occurred recently through the construction of the new pier. I am officially your number one fan and will share this video on the Pink Tank Scuba Facebook page. Love and bubbles, PT Hirschfield http://www.pinktankscuba.com
