Refreshing Windsurf Experience at the Italian Village of Noli


Summer is here, and it’s time to live the passion of Windsurfing and enjoy the waves under the sun. Enjoy a refreshing windsurfing session in the italian village of Noli, at Liguria Italy. The clip was filmed with excellent quality, you can almost feel the breeze hit your face at 25-30 kts and savor the salt water, while listening to good music.

If you are looking for a corner of paradise where to cheer you after a period of hard work, Noli is definitely the case, given the quality of the bathing establishments and the beach. Noli is a small resort, but one of the more attractive to visit along the Riviera di Ponente due to its setting, the sandy beaches, the castle and defensive walls on the hill above the town, and the medieval towers that dominate the historic centre. Noli together with other villages belong to the “Il borghi pui bella d’Italia ”Union. This is an award reserved for the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The town has remained one of the few coastal villages to still have fishermen of the place that every night, come out at sea with their small motor boats and return in the morning with the little fish that offers the gulf. There are several medieval towers and gateways to further enhance the town centre of Noli by giving it the feeling of being an ‘authentic Italian village’ and not just a tourist resort. Several of the more imposing medieval houses have also preserved their original appearance and are particularly noteworthy.

Definitely worth to visit such a passionated place and surfing de waves on your board. Your visit to Noli will most likely start with the long beach and the seafront! The beach is mostly sandy with some strips of pebbles and rock and has frequently been awarded the Blue Flag award for its cleanliness and facilities. We can only recommend that you tour the town on foot. When you take a walk through the streets of Noli, you will get to see the old Palazzi, towers, historical buildings and many beautiful Ligurian lanes and corners. The promenade, although not very long, is attractively lined with palm trees.

Noli offers many opportunities not only for surfing and windsurfing, but for hiking and mountain-biking. The peak season attracts mainly those who love swimming and sunbathing to the beach. There is a very attractive sand and gravel beach stretching along the coast, and is one of the most popular beaches in Riviera di Ponente.

The route from Noli to Spotorno is lined by palm trees and lies on the foothills of the forested hilly landscape. Is one of the most beautiful ones you can find there, taking you through the most beautiful Mediterranean landscape.
